Black framed windows and black hardware throughout, beautiful industrial lighting with filament bulbs, modern wood tile floor, white cabinets with beautiful grey quartz countertops, industrial farmhouse design with industrial elements. Plenty of room for parking and a short walk to the light rail that can take you to Sky Harbor Airport, downtown Phoenix, and Tempe. It's very conveniently located in the Melrose Historic District in Central Phoenix. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Plan on entertaining and need more room? There is also a separate 1800 sq ft main house that can be rented--featuring an open floor plan with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (VRBO #948113). Great entertaining house with large backyard including a fire pit and lots of lounge furniture and industrial lights strung overhead. The casita also has its own laundry room. Perfect for a couples' getaway or someoned working in the area for a while!

Tired of hotel rooms without character, this casita was perfect. It's fresh look has a just-built feel and a modern style. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us. There are plenty of outlets for electronic devices, a large refrigerator, sets of dishes, silverware, glassware, pots and pans, stove, toaster with large slots, huge microwave and a coffeemaker that can grind beans - though we did not use that feature. The hot water was responsive and the shower had great pressure. The heating and cooling system worked perfectly. Since we were there in March, the temperatures were just right for sitting on the cushy outdoor furniture outside the front door to do some reading. Two Adirondack chairs are available in the private back yard as well. The wifi and TV with cable worked great. Within a few miles are many restaurants with a lot of character, which we loved - Thai, Mexican... This location is 5-10 minutes from a Phoenix light rail stop at Camelback Road and Central, and about the same distance from major highway, I-10. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
We loved this, was perfect for our spring training vacation. Everything nice and updated. Jessica answered any questions we had very quickly. Met Kevin he was very nice also asking if everything was ok. Location was great for everything. Very quiet neighborhood, couple parks very close. Our Shi tzu loved the back yard. We have already rescheduled to be back next year.
It really is a "Charming Casita". The owner must be an interior designer, because the cozy space looks like an ad for West Elm. It was also well appointed. Wusthof knives and a full set of serious cookware. We always talk about cooking in, and in this case we did twice. Studio kitchen requires careful orchestration, but we enjoyed eating in. The location was also well situated for access to all of Phoenix proper out to Paradise Valley and old Scottsdale. You can also get out to Tempe and Southeast easily. You can walk to the Light Rail station on Central Avenue. We'll be back.
This was a perfect place for my wife and I to escape the cold weather where we live. The location was great and close to many restaurants and places to get coffee. It is also walking distance to the light rail system which can be used to go downtown and to the east valley area. The yard was nice for our Yorkies and the neighborhood was nice to take the dogs for walks and see the mid-century historic neighborhood. If you are looking for an urban location this is a great choice.
Great location in central phoenix. Stayed there while my daughter attended a swim meet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Good parking space. A/C worked great which was so nice after being outside all day in the 114 degree heat. Brooke was responsive to all our needs. I would stay there again.
My wife and I went to Phoenix to golf and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. The guest house has been remodeled so nicely. Everything was really comfortable. We enjoyed the big backyard and sitting at the fire pit and using the bbq. My wife opted for a vacation rental so we could cook--that was wonderful. The kitchen has lots of things for us to use and my wife was happy. We had everything we could need. Brooke was so great to work with and very responsive during our stay. We will certainly be back!
